| MICHAEL JONES is a native Los Angeles musician and artist. He has performed professionally in numerous bands since the age of fifteen. At the age of fifteen Michael co-formed a band by the name of EULOGY with RUSTY ANDERSON (formerly of EDNASWAP. Composers of the #1 hit "Torn.") Eulogy won the battle of the bands at the PASADENA CIVIC AUDITORIUM producing a song "WHEN YOUR YOUNG" for KNAC radio. The band was featured on a KNAC radio show spot with QUEEN. After EULOGY, Michael formed a new band ECLIPSE and continued to tour and play packed high school and college stadiums with his flamboyant stage antics. Michael, Daniel Van Patten, Chris Velasco formed a new band called ZICKO GLICK, an early incarnation of what eventually became BERLIN (SEX I'M A..., TAKE MY BREATH AWAY and numerous other hits). Daniel went on to produce the first BERLIN album. Michael put out an independent record co produced and performed with BILLY PAUL under the band name BOZART was released in the late 80's, garnering him attention from PRINCE'S label PAISELY PARK and producers of JANET JACKSON, TERRY LEWIS and JIMMY JAM. Michael's band CRYIN OUT LOUD co-formed with his friend STEVE ZDROIK was picked band of the month by KLOS radio and the song "THIS CITY" and "HANDGUNS AND HOME SURVIVAL" were featured on the LOCAL LICKS program. The song "THIS CITY” was featured in the film "NATURE OF THE BEAST," staring ERIC ROBERTS and LANCE HENRIKSEN and directed by VICTOR SALVA (POWDER, RITES OF PASSAGE).ZALLEN was formed as a one-man band. Michael has built a digital home studio, and records and plays all instruments. The idea being that he would just get started with the project on his own and add people later. He has released his first CD on the mp3.com website titles "I LIVE IN A BOX." It currently has 9 songs in the top 100 Psychedelic and Glam charts on mp3. The song "RUFFLED FEATHERS" features Michael's friend JEREMY KASTEN on harmonica, movie director of the soon to be released psychological thriller "THE ATTIC EXPEDITIONS" starring SETH GREEN.Michael has also written numerous jingles, and instrumental tracks, and is an accomplished painter, specializing in Surrealistic, and Photo realistic works of art.Currently he is busy finishing up a new CD to be released via the mp3.com website sometime later this summer.
