VOODOO
The Players:
· Chuck ‘Law' - Bass Guitar/Vocals
· Rance ‘Wrath' - Drums/Vocals
· Johnny ‘Wheels' - Lead Vocals/Guitar
· Rik ‘Danger' - Lead Guitar/Vocals
Voodoo was formed in November 1998 by (Daytonian) drummer/vocalist Rance Wrath, the peoples bassist/vocalist Chuck Law (West Carrolton) and (2 Xenian's) Johnny Wheels on Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar and Rik Danger covering all the Lead Guitar Work along with additional harmony vocals. Each member brings more than 15 years experience on their individual instruments and many years of band experience.
Voodoo are currently focusing a bulk of their time and effort into writing and recording their upcoming debut CD "Cook ‘em Till The First One Squirts" beginning the recording process in February at local legendary studio Cyberteknics with the incomparable Phil Mehaffey twisting the knobs. They are expecting a release date some time in the fall or winter of this year. (2 songs down 8 to go...)
Voodoo have a cover setlist of more than 100 classic rock songs, basically the hits from the 70's to the 90's (102.9/104.7) and are constantly adding to and updating the list. From the two guitar rock of the seventies to the power ballads of the big hair eighties, with just a dash of southern rock, blues, and swing...from madonna to metallica, from george jones to george clinton...
