| hailing from Hamilton "Donut rock city" Ontario, Shawn was born on an October 10th morning of 1982. the self proclaimed geek at a very young age 5 or 6 i think, he traded his first guitar to his grandfather for a commodore 64(coining him a full out geek) although he did play frogger like a badass. years went by living up the geek lifestyle thick glasses,track suits and mullets. by the time age 12 rolled around he still had the ugly ass mullet . But he met Dan and Matty Buzanko eventually the three became 3/4 of mindless sheep with Dave Sedgewick as the drummer. as "Mindless Sheep" the played one show in a town called Elfrida before they realized they needed a name change . Fourth Pew Back was the new name again they played one show although the name got many laughs (fourth pubic) it wasn't the criticism that broke the band up The quartet simutaneosly quit. Dan,who was always the front man started writing new material which was radio friendly and was more calm than the "Mindless sheep" hillbilly/punk confused sound . the four agreed to play again under the circumstance they stick to acoustics and very light rock well they got more than one show. in fact they gained quite the following. remaining good friends but with creative differences Shawn left the band now called Vampid to persue other opportunitites. the band went on to keep gaining more and more of a following with new guitarist Adam Cox ,with Shawn tagging along opening with an acoustic set even joined in with the band for select songs . Shawn met lefty and guitar virtuoso Jimmy Dymond (yes thats his real name) the two joined as a duet playing multiple shows under the name "six of Dymonds" it wasn't long before Shawn but his music aside to focus on his home life he met the curvy Italian Goddess Enza Gallo. Dan,Matty and jim went on to form groups such as no religion here, Graveyard Western Sky and the Rest .all the while Shawn asked Enza to marry him 5 blissful years past and Shawn and Enza are now expecting their first child . now that Shawn is in a comfortable spot in his life he can finally enter back into the music industry with recent release of his low key demo "Refrain from Velocity" and now writing for his second demo yet to be titled. |
