Russ Luigolio writes music for films which often do not exist. His first release, 'Soundtrack to 'il treno' par Russ Luigolio', is typical of his eclectic, disjointed
musical style. Often his music focuses on the parameters of sound; in particular sound types, timbre, tempo and Dis(Order). These concepts are mixed with more conventional approaches to music.
Luigolio makes no pretentions to overwhelming originality or to 'newness' but highlights aspirations to the Avant Garde and to innovation. He hopes that
study of the underlying structures and methods of creation will, to some extent, justify these aspirations.
Russ Luigolio has begun work on his next performance. This will, in parts, be equally unlistenable and should feature some 'new' sound generation tools.
