| Paul Lewis was born in Maryland. He attended Salisbury State University and majored in music and theater. Paul started singing, performing and writing a lot, which led to the formation of the band Y-NOT?!. The release of Y-NOT's A Thrilled Voice catapulted Lewis and the band to the front ranks of the Mid-Atlantic music scene. Eventually, to the dismay of a legion of fans, the group parted ways. Paul formed the band Dead City Radio and then ultimately decided on a solo career. He said his good byes, packed a U-Haul and hit the road. Paul ventured to Los Angeles and found himself without a band, without money and without a job for the first time in his career. Paul began building a devoted following in L.A. with his performances at The Roxy and The Gig. Paul became the first artist to be a part of the Los Angeles indie label Realize Records. Paul has now released his first solo album titled Get On With It. Paul has played with such musical luminaries as the Dave Matthews Band and The Alarm. His live performances have all the ingredients of a true rock show; volume, passion, sex, drama and charisma. A creative and captivating experience that pulls the audience in and doesn't let go. |
