If you're reading this, you already know that on-air radio is not where you find exciting, new artists today. Congratulations: against all odds, you've found a website that fills the void. MURASKO's nickname may sound as corporate as the suits who have taken over the public airwaves, but the man himself is as personable and easy-to-know as his music. He produced and virtually IS every track on his CD debut -- LOST IN RAZZI BERRY FIELD. Multi-layered and multi-dimensional, the mostly acoustic yet “wall-of-sound” result is like nothing you've ever come across. Inspired by his love of the mysterious mountains of Sedona Arizona – and a succession of heart-breaking females –- his lyrics speak of life-teaching losses and better tomorrows. The good news is he's finally found Ms. Right. The even better news is that you've found someone you'll want to spend a lot of time with too: MURASKO. Check him out at www.murasko.com. |

I may be a long-time voting member of the folks who bestow the music industry's biggest annual awards – (can't use their name here without getting their lawyers in a knot...so you do the math). But you don't have to be in the biz to know that there's a sea of new CDs out there -- but only a trickle worth a lick. Even though I usually get paid to write ads and reviews, I didn't get a penny for this one. I'm just happy to be able to point you towards a true artist like MURASKO – and an out-of-the-ordinary CD like LOST IN RAZZI BERRY FIELD. But enough about me. It's MURASKO who deserves all the credit. His dazzling guitar, bottomless bass, breezy piano, and multi-layered production will grab your undivided attention. You won't mistake his voice for anyone else's. But you'll surely see yourself – and lovers lost and found -- in his lyrics. Don't wait until he wins any corporate-sponsored awards to discover MURASKO. Real life and true-blue music are too precious to waste. --- Robert Adels
What's the CEO of a fragrance company* doing telling you about a new CD? I used to work for independent record companies like Mercury and A&M -- back when ears and not attorneys called the shots. It was then that I first heard an amazing one-man-band named Todd Rundgren, who went on to become rock's primal “musician's musician.” Ever since, I've always been partial to music made by hands-on talents who sing, write, play and produce virtually every note themselves. These musicians are few and far between. But when I heard MURASKO and his CD debut LOST IN RAZZI BERRY FIELD, it felt like old times for a new millennium. I read in his bio that when MURASKO isn't playing a gig or working on tracks at his home recording studio, he enjoys being out in the wilds, backpacking and climbing mountains. (You can hear all that and more in the mix.) Sometimes it feels like you have to move mountains to find someone worth listening to who doesn't sound like everyone else. But now that you've read this, you can sit back and just enjoy the experience. ----Topper Schroeder CEO of Gendarme Fragrances Murasko's debut, "Lost In Razzi Berry Field," is a brilliant combination of melodies and musical passages that have a modern feel with classic overtones. His lyrics invoke the imagination and deliver sincerity and an enthusiasm that is addictive. Murasko is definitely on his way to something big. I highly recommend this work to anyone who, like me, is starving for something new and original, and admire those who dare to be different. -Rick Tetzlaff, Producer, Engineer. |
