Miranda Deutsch write and perform music in a variety of styles. These styles sit awkwardly next to each other in the songs which use poetry for the vocal parts. Using rock and
hardcore, Tone Poems (Tondichtung) and Noise Music, are given a more accessible front, and blend with keyboard orchestration. Their first album, 'Ein schönes Stück mein Sohn', is
due for release in October 1999. Formed in 1997 in Hamburg, they moved to London in 1998. Matt and Miranda are the two permanent members. The current line-up consists of:
Miranda (words, singing and bass); Matt (guitars, tapes and programming); Felipe (keyboards and misc. instruments); Harald (drums, percussion, singing). |
