Miles of Empty is a Chicago rock trio in the sonic arena of Stone Temple Pilots and Smashing Pumpkins. Miles formed in December of 2000 and have played the greater clubs in Chicago. Their popular song ‘Ready For The Girls' has been aired on WXRT 93.1 FM. Miles of Empty's 6 song self-titled debut CD was released in March of 2002 and they are primed to record a full-length album this fall. The name ‘Miles of Empty' derives from a book by C.S. Lewis. It represents the vast open space and infinite feelings they felt when they formed the band. Miles of Empty is Mario Kaehn on guitar & vocals, brother James Kaehn on bass and Carlo Cooper on drums. |
