Artist Bio
LETHAL INTERJECTION IS:
Keith - Drums + Vocals
Logan - Guitar + Bass

Lethal Interjection's music is hard to describe. "We can't confine ourselves to one genre," says frontman Keith Mackler, "we're all over the map." The band's music combines alternative and hard rock with pop sensibilities, and Keith is not afraid to scream. Comparisons could be made to Quicksand, Helmet, Weezer, and Local H.

Keith and guitarist/bassist Logan Brennan-Sawyer first met in the fall of 1999 at the Putney School in Vermont. They immediately hit it off, becoming friends and jamming together in Keith's basement. Recording of their first EP, "Thursday AM Maintenance" began just a few months later. The early songs were rough, but showed signs of what was to come. "Listen," the second EP was recorded in May 2000 and sold well locally. The band played their first few shows, in support of "Listen," to a tremendous response. Not content to take too much time off, Lethal Interjection recorded their first full length, "Better Luck This Time" that summer. It was a hit, both with their established fans, and a growing online fanbase. The single "Boys Don't Cry" climbed the www.mp3.com Alternative Charts and brought Lethal Interjection awareness to the net. The guys took a vacation from each other and came back in the fall to record their second full length, "Mein Esel Brennt." Inspired by a German course they were taking together at the time, the title translates to "My Donkey Burns." "Conquer My Dreams" was released as the first single, garnering positive reviews on www.garageband.com and a top 20 spot on the www.mpulse.com Hard Rock chart. More shows were played in support of the album, with great responses!

Lethal Interjection is currently hard at work on their forthcoming album, "Good Mourning America," expected for a late summer/early fall release. The band has decided to start fresh with this album. They're calling it their debut and have stopped selling their old albums at shows and on the web. "We never recorded in a traditional studio setting," says Keith. "All of our old stuff lacks in sound quality; we don't feel it represents us anymore. The old songs sound like demos compared to what we're doing now." Some demos are available for download, so you can get a taste of Lethal Interjection, but expect to hear some of the new stuff very soon! "We're really looking forward to this new album," he says. "It's gonna be huge."
