Press Reviews
Teasingly twisted! Intuitively insane!
Ha! -- Wickedly wild! I believe Thelonius Monk would be moved to inquire about this one! Incredibly arrogant, wonderfully wild-minded, and totally provoking! Brilliant!

Like the child of Frankenstein, this arrangement will probably always be misunderstood, feared, even hunted down by groups of commonly tormented townsfolk through treacherous mountain ranges by torch light! But I'm not blinded by herd behavior, nor afraid of the monster in this crazy neo-bop atonal etude... I stood eye to eye with the beast and saw only myself staring back! "It's alive!!"

Spawned from a drum machine's steady, straigh-forward pulse, over a slick sampled string bass pattern, comes an incredibly intuitive approach to decidedly dissonent guitar styling. Strict atonally-structured note chordings defy both tempo and rhythm in maintaining a minimalist separation of root and key. How do these guys know where to look for this kind of genius...!?

This piece draws you into the essence of sonic animation wrought from the pall of rudimentary death, a spark snatched from cold embers, the shock of sudden awareness after the preconceived sleep of proper formulation... This is not cloning, no, man -- this is forceful CREATION! Dig it!

The guitars catch you at the onset -- the duality of diversity as they weave contrarily through tonic discord, daring not only countermelody, but anti-melody as well! There are no rhythm guitar patterns in the common sense of strumming, though chord-patterned notes in off-timing refrains keep a teasing counterbeat. Flares of lead scale notes flourish and writhe, tormented and tempting, as a non-adulterated over spice... Genius in madness!

Rhythm guitar approached from a non-rhythmic attitude, yet rhythmic in so being - as the mad doctors create such a sound as you have never heard, never imagined, and thus now behold in trepidation, fear not! -- But rather, listen beyond the face of this sardonically-spawned symphony, and to the composers' intent... Grasp not for the 'what,' but the 'why,' and see if you can't embrace this harmless do-as-we-dare piece of music.

This tune is expression in the boldness of defiant liberty, a step beyond form and formality... I have experienced an awakening, and draw deeply of first breaths in this new creation! Amazing
