The Glaswegian trio singer Joe F sounds like David Devant & His Spirit Wife, which is always a good thing, with added Mark E Smith styling aaahs.
The lyrics are politicised Devant too, mixed with a Carter USM level of blunt simplicity. All very cult, then, but a rousing singalong for Chumbawumba fans. JOHN EARLS (ch4 text)

This Scottish good natured firebrand was the seminal creative motor powering his former band incarnation of LifeForm 281. joe-f exudes a world weariness that would confound others & turns it into a catharsis of sound & vision.
