Jody Counter lead & rhythm guitar. A longtime Sonoma County blues legend adds a soulfoul and sharp edge with his guitar mastery. An accomplished artist in his own right, he joins forces with David Verno Jr. to form a legendary guitar alliance.
Brian West keyboards and guitar, the newest addition to the Jackson Stone Band. A true Southern Rocker from Mississippi. Touring the USA since 1996 with various national acts, Brian's professionalism and vast experience complete the awesome Jackson Stone Band Experience.
David Verno Jr. lead vocal, lead / rhythm guitar. Bustin' heads and breakin' hearts all across America, David Verno Jr. has been at the forefront of Southern Rock guitar for nearly two decades. His innovative and stylish songwriting have thrilled audiences throughout the USA. His powerful guitar style will leave you breathless. Today this mountain of a man stands just off center stage while he effortlessly smokes the frets from his Les Paul. His gravely voice exudes both the raw power of a hard rock anthem as well as the sorrow of a man lost in heartache. Jackson Stone comes out from Northern California, but on a music level, they're really southern oriented. Their two singles are here to prove it. Two great songs, "Take Me Back" and "Seven Days" have Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd influences, mainly on vocals, the perfect mix between Johnny Van Zant and Gregg Allman, with wonderful funky background vocals. Then, you have southern boogie songs with "Sympaty" and "Risin' High", full of proud rock'n roll. I really hope they'll soon cut an album.

The Jackson Stone Band returned to the Riverwood Inn for a special Two-night performance on Friday July 28, and Saturday July 29.
Virtually unknown in Humboldt County when they first took the stage at the Riverwood, "They blew the doors off" with their high energy southern rock and blues. You can bet that music lovers in the area know who they are now!
During the Redwood Run, they packed the bars and dance floors with their hard driving beat.
Lead singer David Verno Jr.'s deep rich voice proves to be a tried and true favorite among bikers and classic rock lovers. Their hard driving guitar sounds are played from the heart and bring back the likes of .38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger as well as their own originals. Backing up David are group members Jason Wright, Dave Maraman, and Mikael VanDeven.
