before it's release, houston played their new record at various locations including but not limited to: a bar, a guitar shop, a friend's studio, a '68 plymouth fury. comments made about OVERHEAD included but were not limited to: "it makes me feel all crazy." -girl "from what i can hear, i like it." -bartender at local bar "i can't hear this real well." -ian "what the f*ck is this?" -bar patron "this is the best thing to come through here in years." -mastering technician "my roommate really likes your disc." -mastering technician's roommate "what kind of mics did you guys use?" -studio guru "i haven't heard it yet, but those guys like it a lot." -friend of studio guru's "you kinda got that whole heavy guitar thing going on, don't you? huh?" -guitar shop owner "niiaayyce......" -local entertainment guru |
