HollEr was formed at the end of the 90's when songwriters Henry Otero and Eduardo Roses met while working for a major cruiseline in Miami, FL. The two had been involved with separate and very different music projects early on, yet took a strong interest in each other's work. It did not take long before they began their "electronic music project".
In 2001, HollEr released an independent CD on mp3.com to rave reviews and sales. Though momentum was present, the project was put on hold while both went back to school. Henry attended Full Sail in Orlando, FL., one of the top Recording/Media schools in the country, graduating with a degree in the Recording Arts and ProTools Certification. Eduardo began singing with several local blues, fusion/jazz, and salsa bands, while studying journalism and musical theory at the University of Florida. In 2003, a stronger HollEr reunited to begin work on a new album. Bringing aboard the experience and talents of producer/engineer Carlos de Yarza of Bayside Music, this new material is more organic and carries a bold, eclectic, edgy feel.
HollEr's unique voice fuses Dance, Electronica, New Wave and Pop sounds with a romantic debaucherous attitude and intimate, urgent lyrics. |

HollEr taps into the quintessence of the best new wave artists, and infuses a modern flair with exceptional production of the likes this side of the Atlantic rarely sees. The word “stylish” falls short of describing their sound, as each track conveys a sense of urgency and intimacy. Lyrically, each track keeps the listener surprised with a complete lack of the cliché phrases we're used to hearing in pop vocals on marketing-heavy songs from radio or television. In a nutshell, HollEr provides a complete listening experience.
