Press Reviews
Jersey Beat-summer 1999
"Beep! Uugah! We Stomp 'em real good! Unreconstructed raunched out caveman rock'n'roll! Elementary musical primitism for the boorish, unrefined barbarian in all of us! We're talkin' ear shredding vocals right outta the School of Open Up and Holler at the Top of Your Lungs Singing/Shouting! Funkier-than-thou wah-wah wailin' guitars! Roll over deadly boogie-woogie drum beats that storm ahead like a wooly mammoth stampede! Sweep up the floor nasty bass lines! Crude, profane lyrics! ;-) Deep, tasty taffy-thick hard-throbbin', slow-diggin', stretch 'em to the near breaking point brutally sustained grooves! No frills, no bullshit, no pretense whatsoever let's go back to the Stone Age rumble grumbling at its raw, basic, deliciously unadorned and unpolished straight up-butt-whippin' best! Great Fuckin' Album, Man!

July 7-14(1999) issue of the Aquarian Weekly

Just another dweeb expecting to hear that Opie and Anthony song of the same name as the disc title. Instead, I was rocked with the coolest dose of '70s flavored garage punk around ( they're North Jersey Boys!). Awesome treble-heavy guitar sounds, smart-ass attitude, tricky changes, and a rage-free, though no less-intense, spirited enthusiasm. How I love to hear my Dicken's Cider!

Smithwick Machine w/ FPTOZ

We get into Asbury Park about 7pm. It's a crazy place...24 hour laundromats...we're not in The South anymore. Some very cool friends from NYC came to see us. FPTOZ open the show. Old school punk with a New Jersey frame of mind. http://www.stonerrock.com/smithwickmachine/xtour.html

Black Pumpkin records review :

... FP TOZ, Dicken's Cider, CD, $10. Take this crazy, chaotic, cosmic space ride
and you'll find out that there's more in cider than just rock and roll...

Jacko from the Brighton Bar says :

"F.P.ToZ Brings The Party" and " Dan Is One of the Best Front men Around", or so claims Gary ( no one will confirm or deny it)

Subject: Look out mosh pits!

okies I listened to your track you posted. awesome drums, hard hitting punk sound....Look out mosh Pitts! Sound quality could be better...but over all the song could take home the bacon. Good luck for the future

Went to your iuma webpage and listened to Last Song. Pretty cool. Your drummer's really ripping it up, and it's gotta be a record for a song in that style with that much energy going for that long.
Good luck!
