Forgiven 5 is a band that thoroughly enjoys what they do. This is a fact that becomes evident from the moment they take the stage, in the name of God, to the glorious ending that culminates in an invitation to accept Jesus into the lives of the youth audience they target. As drummer Thomas McEniry says, “ I can't think of any better feeling than watching a bunch of kids on their knees giving their lives or re-affirming their faith to our Lord and Savior, Jesus”.
Forgiven 5 was formed by the grace of God in the spring of 2003.
From the first rehearsal session, when they prayed for God to reveal, through the music, whether or not this would be His will, it became evident it was.
Since that day, Forgiven 5 has been on a mission to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through the very music genre the youth of today listen to.
With a great lineup of original material, as well as some choice cover songs, and a highly professional lighting and sound system, Forgiven 5 keeps their audience on their feet and focused on God.
Individual Bio's
India Miller - Keyboards, Vocals
Age 48 India is the music director of The Beach Baptist Chapel,
in St Joe Beach, Florida, where she has been a member for
over 28 years.
In 1999, India took to the studio to record “Music from the
Heart”, A compilation of traditional gospel songs. This effort
received great reviews locally from all who have heard it.
It has always been a vision of India's to form a band with other
members of her church. This vision came to fruition in the
spring of 2003 with the formation of FORGIVEN-5.
Matt Todd - Bass Guitar, Vocals
Age 24 Matt is involved with a wide array of church activities,
including youth ministries and music. Matt has been
singing and playing bass in church for some time now and
never tires of leading when it comes to the youth.
Like India, Matt shared the same vision of forming a band
to sing and play praises to our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Matt Comes from a firm Christian background and this is
evident in his life as a whole.
Being a talented bass player as well as a gifted singer he
is a true blessing to the band.
Chad Bielser - Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals
Age 39 Chad has been blessed with an extreme talent as a lead
guitarist. Chad comes from a mostly secular music
background which is influenced by the 80's rock guitar style.
After being Born Again into Jesus Christ in the spring of 2003,
he realized his need to utilize his talents for GOD alone.
Since joining FORGIVEN-5, Chad has become somewhat of a
mentor to local Christian kids striving to learn the guitar.
Michael Miller - Rhythm Guitar, Vocals
Age 30 Michael comes from a musical background.
He grew up acting and singing in church and
in high school. Michael picked up the guitar and
was determined to learn it. Like most other instruments he
has played in his life, it didn't take long to master it.
Michael never thought of himself as a lead vocalist, but this became
evident as the first FORGIVEN-5 rehearsals took place.
Michael now sings most of the original material the band is
currently doing, and is a very gifted writer as well.
Thomas McEniry - Drums, Background Vocals
Age 41 Like Chad, Thomas comes from a secular music background,
playing in several club acts throughout the past 20 years.
After giving his life to Christ and becoming a member of the
Beach Baptist Chapel, he was asked to become the drummer of
the, as of then, un-named band.
From the first rehearsal session with FORGIVEN-5, Thomas
knew this was going to be good.
Besides his obvious abilities as a drummer, Thomas has been
somewhat of a business leader for the band, handling recording and
various other business related details.
With their straight forward original message and the musical talent they collectively hold, Forgiven-5 is a truly blessed music ministry, that will no doubt become front runners in the battle for lost souls. |
