Artist Bio
DRIVE CHANNEL is a new sound rocking the underground. The Toronto band has been playing to enthusiastic audiences in Southern Ontario since 1999. DRIVE CHANNEL blends intense guitar work, passionate vocals and insightful lyrics to take the listener through an emotional journey. Their style is defined by a contrast of hard grinding grooves and soft hypnotic passages juxtaposed for maximum effect. The resulting sound is strongly rhythmic and features memorable melodies.

The band's core is comprised of two brothers, Domenic and Sandro Curro. Domenic uses his electric guitar to create rich and complex textures while Sandro's fierce drumming solidly anchors the band. Guitarist Marco Mondano, along with bassist Chris Boshis, offer  bold and creative melodies for front-man Nick Gallagher's powerful voice. Nick's songwriting poetically explores the complex human psyche. The band's original and captivating compositions are the product of all five minds. Collectively they are DRIVE CHANNEL.

Energy and precision are two hallmarks of the DRIVE CHANNEL live show. Fans can always expect an impressive performance. As a result of the band's hard work and consistent gigging, the DRIVE CHANNEL fan-base and CD sales continue to grow. Their newsletter Soundcheck and the website www.drivechannel.net, keep fans up-to-date and informed on all the latest DRIVE CHANNEL developments. Local college radio support has been very positive and currently the band has completed a four song EP which is available through the website and at all upcoming Drive Channel shows.
