Formed in Charleston, SC in 2001. Dowser combines the streamlined economy of a band like Helmet with the more ambient songwriting sensibilities of The Deftones and Tomahawk. Far from wearing their respective influences on their sleeve Dowser creates a unique yet palatable sound.
The band is currently finishing their debut full length CD, as well as working on booking throughout the southeast region for the coming year(while still playing regionally on a regular basis).
Dowser's first demo received much airplay in the Charleston region as well as being regularly featured on the nationally syndicated radio show "The Rockshow". |
