| Bio for Christian Artist: Don Tipton Don Tipton is the former lead singer for the Christian rock band: "Compassion". He is happily married, and the proud father of four daughters. Originally from Ohio, he spent a number of years in Michigan, during which he was part of the worship team at his church, Macomb Christian Community Center. He now resides in Tennessee. Don is a Christian singer, songwriter, and also plays guitar. He has been a Spirit filled Christian for most of his adult life. His style of music ministers to young, and old alike. Life has not always been easy, and he has endured his share of struggles, but through it all Jesus Christ has been his solid rock, the Holy Spirit has been his Comforter, and Guide, and God the Father has been faithful, and blessed him time, and time again. Don has released his first solo album called "Holy Fire", songs that are filled with the word of God, therefore they are heavily annointed by God's Spirit, for the annointing rests on God's word, which will not return unto Him void, but will accomplish all that He has sent it to do, according to the scriptures. These are songs that will minister to you were you live. They will touch your heart, and spirit, and lead you into worship of the Living God. Songs such as the straight up lively worship song, "Hallelujah", to the country rock song "Holy Fire", the title cut from the album, to the easy listening finger picking song of "Here In Your Presence". which went to number six on the top ten Christian charts at www.broadjam.com. |
