Crushing Dayze blends the dark lyrical style of bassist Rick Lidgate with the music arrangements of guitarist/vocalist David Pine. Many of their songs expose the crushing effects of verbal/physical abuse and neglect.
In the year 2000, Rick Lidgate & David Pine left the Canadian alternative rock band, 'Roads' and began writing and composing their own music. As band members in 'Roads', they never wrote any music together, although they both contributed to the song writing of the band. 'Roads' was one of the top unsigned bands in 1999 and was selected out of 400 entries to perform at the rock festival 'Music On The Beach' held in Malibu, California in October of that year.
In 2002 Lisa Lidgate and Jeannine Pine joined Rick and David to form a new band called Crushing Dayze. Their first 3 song EP entitled 'Pull Me Under' was released December 16, 2003. |
