Central Ohio has been home to COWFIRE since the salad days at OSU. When shameless leeches saw the well running dry, a new path was sought. Remarkably, life was kind and careers as firefighters were secured following hasty graduations.
While running, fishing, brewing beer, and chasing their dogs burn most remaining hours, occasionally there's time for another passion.

Believing music rings loudest when heard acoustically, it's easy to understand why performers like Warren Zevon, Bob Dylan, and Lucinda Williams have been so influential. And as these artists demonstrate, when music is honest, everything is connected to the soul....guitar, voice, words.
Cowfire's songwriting shares this honesty. It is a prism that fractures the view of our world into many reflections. Colorful reflections of the shared source we call life.
