There's a brand new face hitting the dance hall scene and airways of Texas these days. Brent Blaha, 25 of Angleton, Texas, is the newcomer gaining popularity as he traverses the state in promotion of his first album "Brent Blaha, Learning from the Past". Released during the spring of 1999 through Fenceline Music, the label created by Blaha, the album continues to increase in popularity. Today, Brent brings his music to a growing fan base with songs like “Champagne Hurricane” and “Texas Summers” becoming crowd favorites, along with many new songs as he continues to exercise his writing abilities. With a sound as genuine and honest as the honky-tonk heroes that have paved the way for Texas country music, Brent continues to win fans with his vocal ability and songwriting talent. He has also managed to assemble a fine group of musicians from around the state who help him deliver a solid and energetic sound in his live performances. With significant airplay across Texas and guest appearances on various radio stations, the word is out on this young musician.
Brent has performed with numerous artists both locally and nationally recognized including the Bellamy Brothers, Jimmie Vaughn, Montgomery Gentry, Charlie Robison, John Conlee, Jack Ingram, Pat Green, Cory Morrow, and Roger Creager.
