This record traces the arc of a relationship - from meeting to parting, and all the ups and downs in between, in just 20
minutes (longer than many actual relationships)! Whether it's the tentative emotions of the ska-tinged "For Keeps" ("Rationale goes flying out the window of romance"), or
the bitter dismissal of "Clown" ("I may want you, but I don't need you"), the recording displays the band's many influences while maintaining a true pop sensibility. Even
though it may hit a tender spot, This Won't Hurt A Bit is one relationship that won't let you down.

Bankhead is a female-fronted band from New York City who play a unique brand of punk-inspired pop songs (or pop-inspired punk songs?) with a little ska and funk thrown in for good measure. The result has been called "a sound that's sure to stand out from the crowd" (Gajoob Magazine).
