BIG EARTH
Prior to forming in 1998, the members of Big Earth had known each other for eight years, occasionally working together, at one time or another, in various bands throughout the 90's. It was during this time, they became seasoned veterans at writing, recording and performing.
The music they've created seems like an old friend: honest, warm, and familiar and so diverse in influence and texture. Their arrangements are generally progressive, averting from the repetitive style of writing, prevalent in today's pop music. However, Big Earth still realizes the beauty of simplicity, often achieving this through dynamics as opposed to repetition.
The lineup consists of Adam Israel (vocals and acoustic guitar), Thomas Gleason (drums and percussion), Nuke Su Cal (electric guitar), Sean P. Owens (vocals and keyboards), and Derek B. Moore (vocals and bass). |
